Autumn in Glasgow

Autumn is in full swing here and Glasgow and it's an autumn I've never experienced before. In St George I feel we don't get a true autumn, with the trees changing everywhere you look, kicking around leaves as you walk because they're covering the ground, and that nippy, cool breeze that makes you want to curl up in a comfy blanket. It's made me all warm and fuzzy inside.

The one thing that I do find different is that Halloween isn't as celebrated here. You can definitely tell it's fall back home because Halloween decorations take over just about every store possible and houses start to put up lights or lawn ornaments to celebrate. Here, I've not really seen any Halloween anything, really. No lights, decorations, or even really a mention of it. We've asked if they celebrate it and were told told that they do, maybe it's just not close enough to Halloween yet? I'm sure I'll find out soon. In the meantime, I'm just going to enjoy my first true autumn the best I can!
