Glasgow's City Centre

Today we had many firsts. We opened a foreign bank account for the first time, rode the subway for the first time, and visited the city centre for the first time. This is only the beginning though, i'm sure we'll be doing these things a hundred times more before coming home. The subway system is actually very easy to understand and use, and the city centre is completely filled with shops and restaurants of all kinds. I found a really warm winter coat there for 60% off! I was stoked to find one as I didn't bring anything remotely fitting for winter weather, and I'm a sucker for a good deal.

We walked around quite a bit and ended up stopping at St George's Squre, a really cool place with statues of figures from Scotland's past. Then we decided to eat dinner at Bar Burrito, probably the closest thing I'll get to Durangos while I'm gone. We then hoped back on the subway to get home and stopped at Crolla's for some gelato. It's a really cute place that's close to home and the apple pie crumble flavor is the best!
