First Look at UofG

Today was the first day we made it to the University of Glasgow. It's our second day and we're already feeling much more confident in our ability to walk around (although I'm a little surprised I remember anything from my zombie walk yesterday). It's roughly a 25 minute walk from our temporary dorms to the university campus, which actually isn't that bad. So far the weather has been a little hot and muggy and we haven't been rained on yet (which is pretty surprising). The people here are so nice. We had a gentleman at Murano walk up to us, I'm sure because of how lost we looked, who basically saw that we were little lost bunnies, and jumped in to help us by grabbing some of our bags and leading us to our rooms. Then, today we had a nice couple and their kids ask where we were from (probably because of our American accents) and told us a little about Glasgow. Also, a very nice university guard tried to help us find a campus map by walking us over to the Fraser building. Everyone is just so nice!

Anyways, because we're here pretty early before classes start, we got to see the university with hardly any people around, which makes for some great pictures! It's such a beautiful place, I can barely describe it. I'm basically going to Hogwarts!
