Today's the Day

Today's the day that we hop on our flight to Glasgow, the day that I start a whole new chapter in my life. I can tell you with complete honesty that I'm a mess of different emotions: excitement, anxiety, hope, fear, calmness, and heavy-heartedness for leaving my family. If my mental state was a person, this is what they'd look like
It's not pretty. Although I'm on an emotional roller coaster ride, I know for a fact that this will be a wonderful and necessary experience for me to move forward in life. I know that this is the path that was meant for me because of all the crazy coincidences that had to collide to get me here. I've not really had to take a leaps of faith before, not a religious leap of faith but rather a leap into the unknown with good faith that it will all work out in the end, and I feel that is exactly what I'm doing. I quit my stable job of 6 years, moved and rented out my house, and am moving over 4,795 miles away to fulfill a life-long dream of living abroad and getting my Master's degree. Here's to the first and biggest leap of hope and faith I'll take!
